Honey Baked Chicken
Hey loves, my Yoga Intensive classes have taken me out of my kitchen but not so much that I can't put something together for my Lil Mama to enjoy.
Thursdays Treat...Honey Baked Chicken!
Ingredients:
- your favorite pieces of chicken I used thighs
- honey
- salt
- olive oil
- herbs/seasoning
Of course after we have washed our chicken pieces I use lemon juice for that I rinse and place in a large bowl. I added 2tbps of olive oil, 2tbsps of honey, pinch of salt, and 21/2tbsps of my Sazon Tropical because it gives it a great reddish coloring and great flavor. Mixed for several minutes and set aside.
Set my trusted toaster oven to 350 /bake and used my baking tray with a sheet of aluminum for easy clean up. I spray with some Pam and placed my pieces evenly. Baked uncovered for 30 minutes turning them once midway. Once they cooked completely I removed them from the tray and set them in a storage container to cool down.
I ate mine with some kale and carrots before I headed out. Lil Mama took some for lunch the next day. Clean up was quick & easy just like the meal and the honey gave the chicken a nice juicy glaze. Delish!
